The faculty of corrections met its graduates in 1998 on a new material and technical basis.
The meeting was attended by the heads of practical units - officers, who said goodbye to the faculty of corrections 20 years ago. During this time, the faculty replaced several leaders, acquired a new material and technical base. The head of the faculty, the colonel of militia Savastey Oleg Mikhailovich, said: "The faculty has changed the placement, but has not changed its standards of professional training".
The meeting was held in a solemn atmosphere. Oleg Mikhailovich greeted the officers with a speech, spoke about the specifics of the new training plan for the Bologna process, the directions of the faculty development. Arriving graduates were shown a film about the history of the faculty, conducted a tour of the new location: the administrative part, the classrooms, the living quarters. Also, the head of the faculty noted that the meeting of graduates of 20 years ago is very symbolic, because in a month the faculty will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment.
