Minsk celebrated its 951th anniversary. The holiday turned around in all corners of the capital.
The tragic pages of history have not been forgotten on this day either. In the morning a solemn laying of flowers took place at the Victory Monument. The event was attended by cadets of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Maria Yagodnitsyna, chairman of the board of the Belarusian Union of Blockade of Leningrad, spoke with future officers. Not for the first year, she has been visiting Minsk, meeting with students, and now she was glad to meet with representatives of the leading militia educational establishment of Belarus.
