So, at the faculty of corrections Andrei Bertosh, the head of the Minsk Emergency Department of the Moscow district and colonel of internal service, reminded cadets about the rules of fire safety and life safety. The speaker gave examples and statistics, noted that the main causes of the fire are smoking under the influence of alcohol, short-circuit, the ignition of unattended electrical appliances, improper handling of heating systems. Literally before the visit to the faculty, Andrei Berthosh handled a case on Kosmonavtov Street, where an outbuilding burnt because of stove heating.
The speaker also told the cadets about the mobile application of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus: help alongside for smartphones and tablets. The gadget, for example, informs about bad weather conditions and gives recommendations on actions in dangerous situations.
